Vangelis ConstantianosVangelis Constantianos is the Executive Secretary of the Global Water Partnership - Mediterranean (GWP-Med), a regional multi-stakeholder platform for water security. Vangelis has chemistry background and 25 years of professional experience on environmental protection and integrated water resources management (IWRM) through strategy development, action planning and pilot application at regional, national, local/coastal and transboundary level, including on water governance, water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus, climate change adaptation, transboundary cooperation, non-conventional water resources management, and water-employment-migration. Has extensive experience on stakeholders’ engagement and capacity building.

Has engaged in 50+ international & national projects, financed by a range of institutional, public & private donors. Among others, he has served as UN agencies’ expert as well as the Executive Secretary of the international ‘Independent Panel of Experts of the Red Sea-Dead Sea Conveyance Study Programme’ (2009-2014) managed by the World Bank.
